We kicked off our holidays on Christmas Eve by celebrating at home with Grady and Abbie. Here is Grady enjoying his new package of treats.
Abbie got a new feather toy and she loves it. If only Grady would stop trying to eat her toys she could play with them more often.
On Christmas Day we drove up to Indiana and spent several days there with the Amy/St. John side of the family. We got to see family and a college friend as well.
Here is some present opening at Grandmum and Granddad's.
After our Indiana stop we headed to Chicago to have "Roomie Christmas" with a bunch of college friends. Sally and Brian were gracious enough to host us and our animals as well. We had a wonderful time and it is always hard to leave such great friends. We are looking forward to our next visit with everyone. Unfortunately I am not very good at taking pictures so those will have to wait until I get pictures from Sally or Caitlin.
On New Years Eve we headed for our last stop in Columbus to spend time with the Maier side of the family. Grady and Abbie were thoroughly spoiled as you can see here.
On New Years Day we got to take a day trip up to Canton to see the extended Maier side of the family. It was well worth all the driving to see our extended families during the holidays!
After a day and a half to rest and catch up on laundry I headed back to work. Shawn starts his last semester of law school (eek!) on the 12th.
Last night we started obedience classes with Grady. He had basic classes as a puppy but we thought a refresher would benefit us all. He seemed to timidly take it all in and we have homework as well.
We hope everyone had a great holiday season and a good start to the new year!
