We are getting a fence!

We are finally having a fence installed around our back yard. As dog owners we have been wanting one ever since we moved into our house but a wooden privacy fence isn't cheap. Recently we felt like we could swing it and when one of the best companies in the area came out and gave us their "winter price" we decided to go for it. Monday they came out and found the lot markers and staked the perimeter. Yesterday I came home to this:

It has been rainy and stormy the last two days so needless to say there is mud everywhere. Hopefully today they will come out and finish it up (it is a 6 foot privacy fence so right now all you are seeing are the posts and the braces). We can't wait to be able to let Grady out without a leash! Luckily they were able to schedule us with plenty of time for cleanup before the big graduation bash next weekend.
On the home front Shawn is done with Law School!! He finished up his last exam on Tuesday and played in the Dean's golf tournament yesterday between rain drops. He will be hooded on the 17th and graduation is the 18th. We are looking forward to celebrating with all our friends and family. Now we just have to get him through the Bar Exam and find him a job! One step at a time though :)
Last week was a long week for me at work as we laid off another 200 people as part of our accelerated restructuring plan. I am very very thankful to still have a job and feel terrible for all those that don't. We hope everyone is doing well!
